Mount Street’s Lower Juniors had a ‘berry’ good time researching and creating their very own jam this half term. The children have informed us that it tasted delicious on toast. We look forward to our next cooking adventure!
Cross Country success at Builth for the Powys Primary Schools Cross Country Challenge
We had a sunny day at Builth Wells showground for the Powys Primary Schools Cross Country Challenge. All 30 children from Mount Street Junior school ran their socks off over a long and testing course.
In the Year 4 boys race we were thrilled to receive an individual third place medal. The Year 3 girls combined placings, resulted in them being awarded the Year 3 Girls Team runner up.
We are so proud of them all for their efforts. Da Iawn!
New school newsletter
We’ve changed the way we write our school newsletter. It’s now written and edited by a team of year 5 and 6 pupils, and includes a range of school news, term dates, topical issues and entertainment.
